1. Halycon – Ellie Goulding – If this is a surefire pop move, why doesn't it feel like one. Rather, it feels like an advance and a beaut but also like an exception as the rest of the album doesn't match it – Grade: B+
2. Speedway – Morrissey – The dead stop near the end is money in the bank – Grade: A
3. 21 Days – Suzanne Real – Sophomore album opener is also the best song, slight but not in a gnomic way, it is a blues sizzler – Grade: A-
4. The Way We Were – Barbra Streisand – The standout Thursday night was sung as a eulogy to the composer – Grade: A+
5. Some Other Time – Blossom Dearie – So sweet, Barbra doesn't really transform it the way she does weaker maeterial – Grade: A
6. Flowers Of Romance – PiL – All these years later, the drums sound like Adam Ant – Grade: B+
7. I Knew You Were Trouble – Taylor Swift – Catchy sucker and like so much on the album, its ego is much more mooted than the overweaned last album – Grade: B+
8. To The World – Kanye West – An undeniable track from a deniable album – Grade: B+
9. Empire State Of Mind – Jay-Z – Very impressive rap from his huge lousy song off the Brooklyn EP – Grade: B
10.Piece Of Peace – Marla Mase – They better release this fast – Grade: B+
