The Rocket Summer's "200,000" Reviewed

I am absolutely in love with The Rocket Summer all over again.

He released a music video for his tune "200,000" and I am left speechless.  Sitting here, I am absolutely stunned and not only at a loss for words, but I can't even fathom the beauty of the song and the vid.

The tune is his best yet; his voice got deeper, his skills got better, and overall he's matured.  I'm in love with the piano in it, and it's so cool how the video shows that it's him playing everything.  This guy just blew me away.  I was entirely captivated in the song.  The little details make it so each time you hear it, you catch something new.  It's so unique and fun- but the lyrics are insanely powerful.  It's absolutely gorgeous.  Simply, it's poetry put to music.  Bryce Avary is an absolute genius and I didn't think he could get any more talented, but he did somehow.  I am in awe.

As for the music video, that's what really drove it home for me.  He's on a crazy journey climbing through the woods, stealing a moped, and nearly getting knocked out.  The reason?  He's on his way to his wife, Tara.  She's waiting for him in the sunset and he comes to play her the song.  The photography aspect was perfect.  The sights were breathtaking- I really want to know the location where they shot it because it's one of the prettiest places I've seen.  Him and his wife are beautiful, and this video really emphasizes the strength of their love.  It was heartwarming and magnificent.

This is such a perfect song and video.
