I am moving out of my home.
I was just assaulted by the American Idol kids rendition of “I Got A Feeling”.
I now got a feeling that I’m going to be sick.
When I think it cant get worse.. it gets unbearable. I have to editorialize. I have to. My God my people, my brethren why? Why is this OK? What have we done as a society to allow ‘the man’ to feed us this and we’re supposed to enjoy it. Is this a ‘feel good’ program? Cuz it makes me ‘feel sick’.
Mary Magpie on assignment is the only reason this is permitted in my home. I pay the mortgage.. I shouldn’t be repulsed in my own crib.
To watch a group of supposedly talented singers group up to kill what to me is one of the most fun songs EVER is an abomination.
Worse than Glee, worse than the elementary school concert, grown men and women forced into this variety show of fake smiles and head bobbing. Grooming them? For what?
I hate American Idol. I hate the dumbing down of the entire nation. I hate most that people think its OK to be handed this. Why do we allow it? Have we lowered our standards so much that it just doesn’t matter?
So sad. So pathetic.
To make this a THREE night event each week is just torturous and shows the lack of imagination of those who create programming. Night 3 and here it is again. Like a bad dream Groundhog Day.
