And I am, frankly, baffled. Expecting party rock and roll songs with airier production than I’m used to, what I got was four extended jams almost ragalike, almosyt ambient, rhymic holes around a coupla notes.
The guy playing with Andrew is Matt Sweeny from Superwolf -whom I’ve never heard of and there is definitely a meeting of minds here. Sweeny was taking a break from recording the new Kid rock album being produced by Rick Rubin to play on this session and there is definitely something going on but I can’t quite hear it.
One thing is for sure, it took me ten minutes to convince myself daytrotter hadn’t posted the wrong songs.
