I don't care that Rufus Wainwright, one of my fave singer-songwriters though his latest album is a disappointment, is marrying a man. That is fine with me…. BUT A GERMAN!!! Rufus gets his man, Jorn Weisbordt!
Just funing the happy couple, who got engaged in 2010 and are marrying this Thursday. Rufus had Leonard's daughter Lorca Cohen, bear his 18 month old daughter, and wrote a song for toddler on his album.
Anyway, this is what contactmusic.com reported:
"Attendees will be treated to a lunch of champagne and lobster rolls at a local restaurant before heading to Montauk's Shagwong Restaurant – which Rufus once described as being ''filthy and smelly and, once again, sexy'' – for a reception which is expected to go on until 4am.
Rufus is believed to be going to sing at the party along with a number of other live performers instead of a DJ."
Carrie Fisher and Yoko Ono are to be among the 250 attendees and, incidentally, I wasn't invited. This could be because they don't know I exist and could be based upon my anti-Aryan remarks at the start of this post.
