Spotify Is Great But Try Finding Any New Releases

There is a lot to love on Spotify, but people who complain that it does a terrible, terrible job at keeping you informed as to what is available, specifically new releases, have a point.

I have been eagerly awaiting the new Beak  album for ages, so imagine my shock when somebody told me it was already on Spotify. How the hell was I supposed to know that? There seems to be no answer to the question at all, I just wouldn't now would I. I wouldn't on Itunes either who are almost as bad at telling the world what the new releases.

For awhile there, I found a a Spotify app, but it was a lousy one. It might have done the bar minimum, ergo advise you when it was updated but it didn't. It listed songs not album, which made it a nightmare to troll through. Also, it updated stuff randomly.

Still, it is better than what I have now: nothing whatsoever. I have my ear pretty close to the ground when it comes to music and I still lose tons of stuff. I don't even know where to begin with spotify. There are millions of songs and it is still an unruly mess. They have 15 million tracks to choose from and it is so difficult to locate em. And, James brown? They have him under so many variants you cant figure out if they are missing it or simply don't have it.

Sometimes, it is so user unfriendly, I figure they are doing it on purpose. God forbid you try and getsomeone to actually speak to you at Spotify. I dare you. I double dare you. They have THE WORST SERVICE ON THE PLANET WORST THEN THE GOVERNMENT. They have zero, none nada. Not a phone number anywhere. You, Sir, are on your own.
