As of February 23, in the later P.M., The Rocket Summer’s album “Of Men and Angels” is number two on iTunes top albums, number one in alternative albums, and my top album of quite a while. Inspiring and wonderfully honest, we get closer and closer to Bryce with each album.
Of course “it’s not too sexy to sing about the blessings we get”, but that doesn’t matter. Sexy? He’s right. A ton of bands are popular because of sex appeal. Bryce has a different approach- his music is pure talent, not looks or singing about drugs, alcohol, or sex. It’s personable, and he hits home with your heart, reminds you of a time, and brings you back there and it makes you smile.
The Rocket Summer is truly the only artist on my iPod that I can listen to no matter what, and I can assure you that I will never not like what he does. He’s living his dream, and causes you to create your own.
You’ve gotta believe.
