Endless Love by Helen Bach

We’ve covered ‘mixed tapes’ those loving compilations we have all put together during the courting stages of our lives (note I made the plural.. hollah!) but is there a particular song that you gave or received that to this day rips your damn heart out and slaps it on a plate like a liver and onion special at Mels Diner?

Iman and I got on that topic, how I don’t know. He and I can discuss anything and eventually it rounds up to being a post.

So I shout out to my Facebook peeps (friend me at Helen Bach, btw…) for songs and what I came up with was sorta surprising. As bad ass as some people are is pretty much as sappy as they are.

OK the most romantic song anyone ever gave me was ‘Baby I’m Amazed’, by Joe Cocker. I hate Joe Cocker, I hate that song but Joe Cocker SINGING that song and bam pass the fucking tissues. The most heart wrenching song Ive ever ‘given’ someone was Shameless, by Billy Joel. Yeah Billy Freakin Joel..but seriously listen to the lyrics of that and try not to well up. Hell I well up just thinking about it.

So I present to you a list of songs to rip your lungs out. Feel free to take one or two if your feeling to lazy to come up with one on your own.
