In anticipation of going to see Friends tonight at Bowery Ballroom, here are two pix of what is quickly becoming the wildest indie band on the scene performing at the Mohawk in Austin. With Samantha topless, in case you didn't notice.
I am more excited to see Friends tonight than I was to see Roger Waters on Friday. To put it simply, Manifest is the indie album of the year and I have had it on heavy rotation since I got it. It is, of course all about two things:
a) Samantha
2) Beats
And they got them both in spades, plus a potential hit single.
