Barry Gibb To Tour Solo

"I will live on the music and no matter what stage I'm standing on my three brothers will be standing there with me. Our whole familyappreciates your support at such a difficult time. I will miss all my brothers deeply. I'd like to personally thank all those kind people who grew up with us and enjoyed our music wherever you are in the world."

That's the statement Barry Gibb made following Robin, following Andy and Maurices all untimely deaths.

According to contact reporting on the daily Express, a family friend said:  "Barry is hurting badly but he knows the boys would expect him to carry on. Next year looks more likely in terms of a return to the stage. He will do his brothers proud."

It is hard to imagine the Bee Gees without Barry but less so the other way around. Barry was always the one in the middle with the excess chest hair, he has always at least appeared to be the lead singer, and if this was the mid-70s, no, the Bee Gees could not go on, but today they could.

A Barry Geed tour would be hugely, hugely successful. I am guessing they can get vocal pros to sing the other roles and the money will be HUGE.
