Best TV Show On Earth After Being Human? The Inbetweeners reviewed by Iman Lababedi

BBC America’s “The Inbetweeners” is officially the best show on TV. Tangentally only about music (how can you make a sitcom about teens without a soundtrack), it follows the story of four kids at a comprehensive in London trying to figure it all out. All meaning “girls” of course.
Magnified reality, one episode has a boy get drunk to tell a girl he loves he loves her and end up throwing up on he kid bother. He is one of four: a private school kid whose parents have gone elvis and he is left to the compre… err, pblic school, a working class kid who holds down jobs on the side, another working class kid who lies about sex (been there, done that) and a sorta middle class one who is, er… I dunno, not the leader but he has a car.
The soundtrack isn’t all that but I’ve only watched five episodes and it is about to start filming its third seasons with a movie in the works so I’ve missed a ton.
Here is what Wikipedia offered for the soundtrack:
“The opening theme tune to both series is “Gone Up in Flames” by English rock band Morning Runner. The first series also features music by Air Traffic, Arctic Monkeys, Theaudience, Vampire Weekend, Belle & Sebastian, Jamie T, The Libertines, Rihanna, The Fratellis, Jack Penate, Guillemots, The Feeling, Kate Nash, The Wombats, The Cure, Lily Allen, Mumm-Ra, Tellison, Transformer, Sam Isaac and Feist, selected by Xfm DJ Marsha Shandur. The second series also featured Biffy Clyro, Royworld, Vampire Weekend, Maximo Park and The Cribs. A full list can be found on the E4 website.oundtrack”
