1. Teenage Bass – Shit Robot – DFA's resident real deal DJ takes, not a bass line, but a lick, and runs variations of it, in complementary keys, with drum patterns submerged and tempered in different layers. For seven minutes – Grade: B+
2. Five Minutes More – Frank Sinatra – One of my Mom's fave, swings sweet and with an air of innocence that couldn't be pulled off today. Grade: B+
3. To Love Somebody – Bee Gees – Made to order soul classic – Grade: A+
4. Valentine – The Big Sleep – Noisy, melodic plus kitchen sink duet – Grade: B+
5. Life's A Gas – Joey Ramone – The less they adorn Joey's demos, the better the songs are – Grade: B+
6. Hell Ya – Drake, Lil Wayne – One of his livelier moments – Grade: B+
