Lady Gaga and perennial rock NYC fave Cyndi Lauper were seen together during the amfAR annual AIDS research gala.
The pair continued to fuel speculation that a project involving the two is in at least the talking stages.
“She is a good kid,” said Lauper. “She is very creative and I am so happy for her. I think that sisterhood is a powerful thing.”
Lauper also defended Gaga, after a recent television performance in which she moved to protect the privacy of her family.
“There is no book which teaches you how to be famous… and you have to draw the line,” said Lauper.
In regards to a possiblue duet involving the two, Lauper would only say that nothing had been finalized. “I love her and will do anything she needs,” Lauper said.
