Smirnoff/Madonna Nightlife Remix A Must Get… But How!!!

Have you heard about this? I was on the phone he other day with Michaella (who has a great accent that veers wildly from hardcore Australian to a quadi Cockney inlection, and might want to drop an "l" from her name because it confuses me) , Michaella works for Splendid Communications, the Global PR people for the Madonna/Smirnoff collobaoration, and she alerted me to a new Madonna remix album.

She then followed it up with this press release:"March 26th Smirnoff launched the official MDNA Nightlife Edition Remix Album, available exclusively from www.Facebook.com/SmirnoffUS. The album features new, unheard and exclusive remixes of MDNA singles Give Me All Your Luvin and Masterpeice by Smirnoff Master of the Mix talent Kid Capri (famed from his Studio 54 days) and Just Blaze (most well known for producing Jay Z songs on The Blueprint, The Blueprint 2 & The Black Album)."

I went on their Facebook wall but apparently when they said it was linited (as they do!), they were being upfront with us and I couldn't get my hands on a copy. Actually, it looks pretty good:

3. Turn Up the Radio
   (Leo Zero Remix)

4. Turn Up the Radio
   (Richard Vission
   Speakers Blow Remix)

  • 1. Give Me All Your Luvin'
       (Oliver Twizt Remix)
  • 2. Give Me All Your Luvin'
       (Sultan & Ned Shepard Remix)
  • 3. Give Me All Your Luvin'
       (Demolition Crew Remix)

Plus an additional 7 songs off the album, for some obscure reason. I would love to hear the Demolition Crew remix; indeed all the remixes look intriguing.

You already know I've been prevaricating between MDNA being borderline and very good. The remixes might throw me onto the very good side forever. Try the Facebook link, it is $3.50 and you could find out before I do,

Meanwhile, they had a wild party to launch the album somewhere in Miami. Which, between my English friend Louise not bothering with nyc on her visit from Manchester, to spend the week in Miami Beach, and Madonna considering it ground zero for dance, partly due to Ultra Music no doubt, it might be worth noting that at least in nyc WE DON'T HAVE TO IMPORT OUR DANCE. DFA Records and Trouble And Bass are local phenoms.

DFA were LCD's homeground and T&B might have been an importer of dubstep as well, at least they imported it long before any one else.

But I digress, I'm back to searching out the remix album and imitating Ll's accent.
