fun. did an acoustic version of their song "Carry On" and it's absolutely gorgeous. Nate's voice is so perfect, live and recorded. The warmth of the piano and acoustic guitar together create a sense of calm but it's still passionate.
I like it even better than the original. It's so raw and real, and really emphasizes the lyrics which are beautiful. "If you're lost and alone, or you're sinking like a stone, carry on" is a nice message that is truly accentuated further by the clean and pure, unprocessed version. I also just can't get enough of his vocals. His voice is so unique; I've never heard anything like it.
This acoustic version is superior to the original, and is completely flawless. It's one of the best songs that fun. has ever written, and is completely phenomenal lyrically and musically. Check it out here:
