Some days in nyc simply catch your attention. And any day with Jerry Lee Lewis in town is a good night for live music in the city. The 76 year old titan of rock NEVER phones it in (though he sometimes gets tired).
And I can't go.
I am going to be seeing Bruce at the Prudential Center.
And so I moved along but then it kept happening. All of these concerts are must sees and Bruce is cock blacking all of em:
Pitbull At Radio City Music Hall
David Johansen at Highline
The rapture at Bowery Ballroom
The War On Drugs at MHOW
Screaming Females at The Bell House
Holy hell!!!
How can I go to all of them?
this is the problem with living in nyc. In L.A. it would be considered A GOOD WEEK, in Cleveland a good month. Over here it is a quandary, a world filled with sound and vision!!! And we can only go to one. And nyc is the capital of live music. London can't claim this sort of night.
