1. Hysteria – Ceremony – On the the hand, Pissed Jeans were much better when I caught Ceremony headlining earlier this year, on the other hand it is exceedingly difficult this loud, drums heavy slice of punk. Yeah punk, not hardcore.
2. Boom Boom – Rye Rye – M.I.A. interns are all about the beat, thus the name. And everything else is like art school drop outs working at Sesame Street.
3.American Land – Bruce Springsteen – The real problem with this Irish gig is that the drums suck. Incidentally, isn't Springsteen 2nd generation Polish? How about about some gypsy folk…
4. Doctor Doctor – UFO – I'm new to them myself, however this is the best American prog rock band maybe ever.
5.Eight Avenue – Hospitality – This is very good indie twee -a touch Belle And Sebastian though without the heavy arrangement.
6. River Stone – Corrosion Of Conformity – Never much cared for the singer but the band is real good.
7. The Huter Gets Captured – The Marvelettes
8. Hi – Xiu Xiu – Aggressive art rock.
9. Desperation Breeds – Andrew Bird – What a chirp
10. Intersteller – Frankie Rose – I've been returning to this album, it's a grower for sure.
