The last time I saw James Taylor, he was sharing a stage with Taylor Swift, who took her first name from him.
The time immediately before that was at the same venue only this time he was joined by Carole, and standing up well to the competition. Carole was serious, professional, Taylor a smart ass and a wiseguy, with a cool charm he didn't have back when King and Taylor were sharing the stage at the Troubador.
The time I saw him before that, Taylor was even better, A solo, career retrospective with slide shows and tall stories at the Beacon Theater, he didn't quite keep his Grandpa Jame quite in check, but he still managed to bring to life songs he must be truly sick of.
So, t took me about as long as it takes to read that tix were on sale for James Taylor at Prudential Center, Saturday, June 23rd, for me to buy one. I got it at a Live Nation presale, however, the onsale is Friday at 10am.
