After failing to connect with Ga Ga Ga Ga Ga and dismissing Transference after “Written In Reverse” failed the Iman tested of great first line, please allow me to admit my sins and heartily recommend Transference in total.
It is both muddy and clear at the same time: completely opaque and dissident and alt in a blusy, sexy way. Buy “Trouble Comes Running”, some sorta rubber bouncing pop stroke that jumps out at you and holds you. It’s almost as good as Holiday Rain.
the rest of the album is nearly as good.
