Honestly, can this get any more exciting? It's not possible, right? I haven't seen her in years and years. The last time I saw her she was at the Beacon theater, in full Rasta woman drag. And she was excellent. She slaughtered, murdered, brought the fucking house down.
Hell, I've seen her open for Van Morrison and not get herself blown off stage.
I don't care how indiscrete the woman is in her personal life, on stage she is a great and apparently she will have new product to push. The upcoming album appears to be called, How About I Be Me (And You Be You)? A title that reminds me of another declarative (the question is rhetorical) statement: I Do Not Want What I Do Not Have.
It is a Thursday, Friday and I'll settle for either! Add it goes on sale Friday at noon.
