So what is to be announced? The hot rumor is Roger Waters will be bringing his "The Wall" Tour to the house George built and it looks more than wishful thinking.
For one thing, Waters is a New York fan, despite playing "The Wall" at MSG in 2010, I'd be shocked if he dumped the tri-state area the next time he is in town.
But all tix are currently on sale for the show and no nyc.
The grapevine is buzzing, the one stop shopping will be July 7th at Yankee Stadium. A Saturday following July 4th and a thrilling concept entirely. I saw Macca there last year and it was the show of the year and despite my dislike for the album (it is an overrated drag and both Dark Side and Wish you Were Here are much better), I think if and when it happens, it is unmissable and since I missed it at MSG (I did catch Dark Side), I'll be making my way to the nosebleed seats.
Incidentally, the set is huge and would lend itself well to Yankee Stadium.
