So the year of Adele has ended but the season of the English singer songwriter conitnues without a break. Florence Welch is back on the album charts at # 6, all the usual suspects have had an excellent year, especially Laura marling and just as you think, OK, that's all folks, 22 year old Lianne La Havas, coming off a star making turn on "Later With Jules Holland" released her EP Lost And Found, last October.
Signed to WB, the Folk Soul singer (it sez here) is a knockout mix of Greek and Jamaican. Yeah, I can't hear either. Maybe she's like Adele singing Sandy Denny…
But what I can hea, I like a lot. She was on the BBC Sound of 2012 from last week as well.

Lianne is waiting in the wings to take over the US and really, she has a hot sound right this moment. Expect the new album this Spring.
