I love Motion City Soundtrack and its nice to see them making some news
With a North American Tour and a brand new release they’re proving staying power that Phantom Planet couldn’t quite hang on to.
“My Dinosaur Life’ will most certainly will be covered here shortly. It has really gotten some amazing recognition by Alt Press to and even Entertainment Weekly. Previously released “Even if It Klls Me” Most notable track is “It Had To Be You’ is the song I find highly addictive and so simplistic and pure. I’m hopeful they have remained true to this style. Alas I cannot review it as its someone else job but that writer is currently on American Idol assignment.. ahem…
We did see Motion City Soundtrack live on the Honda Civic Tour supporting Panic at The Disco. I am frantically working to negotiate my life so we can catch up with them February 4th. They do an amazing live act and lead singer Justin Pierre is a showman. A highly contagiously happy one at that. He was endearing, personable and dag nabbit the boy has a good voice.
Should you miss them on this tiny jaunt before they go to Asia and Europe (Congrats guys! YAY!) they’re playing the first half of Warped Tour!
