Return From Exile may be one of the wierdest bands I’ve ever heard(excluding the crunkcore genre). With DJ leaving and in one of my current favorite bands, Watchout! Theres Ghosts, it’s different hearing what else he did. Without a doubt they’re very good, but “The Party’s Never Over” first led me to believe that it was a fun catchy easycore song. As soon as the screaming started, I knew that I was in for many more incredible surprises.
“The Departed” proves that theory. You think they’ll go right, they’ll go left. They certainly keep things interesting.
“Fallback, Rewind” is crazy, intense, and confusing. It makes you think how a band could go down a highway and take a crazy turn, almost missing the exit, and going in a polar opposite direction.
