Legendary Canadian singer songwriter Kate McGarrigle.
Kate was famous as a singing duo with her sister Anna and as a partner with her ex husband Loudon Wainwright III. Rufus and Martha Wainwright are her children.
I’ve seen her quite a bit in the past year or so. Playing with Martha at Summerstage and at the Highline last year and on Costello Spectacle with her son Rufus.
