Apocalypse Express – It’s a miracle that we even get to hear this. How many years have these tapes been sitting on a shelf? I can so hear her confidence building as a vocalist. She’s got a real Bobbie Gentry thing going on right here. Phenomenal. The arrangement just kicks ass. Multiple guitars, pedal steel too.
The Living End-We got some uplifting song titles here, no? Those vocals! She is harmonizing with herself so beautifully. Im actually surprised these songs are so fully fleshed out. I expected more of a demo feel, but everything is there
Things Are Looking Up-I cant objectively review these because I love them so much-I love this one on the first listen. I have to disqualify myself, like Kitty Carlisle in “What’s My Line” Overwhelming in it’s goodness., chock full of tasty morsels. Makes her story all the more sadder to me. What a tragedy. Like I said it’s a bonafide miracle that we get to even hear these at all.
