Betraying the Martyrs, a Christian/hardcore screamo band hailing from the home of the croissant, Paris, France are without a doubt insane.
“The Hurt The Divine The Light” is a catchy, fun, easy to listen to song that rips out your ears and throws them on the ground. A unique song that’s captivating and holds you until the very end, it doesn’t make me change the song in the middle of it like most screamo songs i listen to.
“The Covenant” begins and is fast, loud, and great. Deep screaming with imperceptible words, and a drummer whose arms are gonna fall off you can’t help but smile.
Greatly talented, unique, and fun, Betraying the Martyrs are a Christian band that is tolerable and not too preachy. Thank God for the French.
