Reports have PETA sending Kelis a letter asking that she stop her wearing of fur.
Kelis rejected the request saying that minks and chinchillas are rodents so if she wasn’t wearing them she would demand them dead anyway. And there were bigger issues to address such as ‘maiming of women’ she also stated that its ‘warm as hell and feels glorious’
Ok..
Kelis stated this in her MySpace blog ending with by far the best statement of 2010 so far..Advising those who want to “preach” to her to “do it about something worthwhile [and not] waste my time trying to save the dang chipmunk”.
I am all for free thought. Heck wear what you’d like PETA is not your mother. You don’t have to listen to them. For the record I am a strict vegan and animal rights advocate and a card carrying member of the organization. I don’t agree with all they do but overall I do agree with the mission statement.
My problem here ‘Kelis” is your inability to rationally and articulately state your position. Perhaps it would be better to simply reject it than to try to explain it up with a bunch of idiotic nonsensical anti logic.
