The first rule of Mumford and Sons is you do not cover Mumford and Sons.
Especially if you're a girl, a teenybopper band, suck, or a combination of all three.
First off, I've never even heard of "Tonight Alive" and obviously for a good reason. They covered "Little Lion Man" for "Punk Goes Pop"(Mumford and Sons isn't even close to pop!!!) She has a shrill and annoying voice, yells obnoxiously to compensate for being terrible, gets a lyric or two wrong, and has no talent at all.
Also there's a reason that the original band doesn't have a drummer, but apparently Tonight Alive decided to make the tune absolutely unbearable.
I'm just so disgusted. They even had the audacity to add a synthesizer.
M&S are the epitome of pure calm and beautiful folk music. To hear a band with zero talent cover them puts me in an absolutely horrific mood. I can say that my day's pretty much ruined now. What is wrong with the world? I just don't even understand.
