1 The Greatness – Pac Div – West coasts ride a killer sample all the way to the end and while the rap is standard issue it isn't as simple as it sounds..

2. Sly – Girl In A Coma – A full fledged ballad and a really good one adds more direction to the band.

3. Sweet Machine – Clinical Trials – Lead singer uses the herky jerky arrangement to fool the rummer. It doesn't work.

4. Jack Can I  Ride – Laura Viers – This Seattle songwriter should write for children more often.

5. Swim Good – Frank Ocean

6. Smart – Girl In A Coma – Another really good song off their excellent new album.

7. Danzig – Brand New God – Explosive shit.

8. Good Feeling – Flo Rida – There seems to be a wave of new pop that opens with just an acoustic guitar, the best of building blocks.

9. Pretty Lil Heart – Robin Thicke – Not Lil Wayne (whose featured) best rap of the years, but the soulful horns and Thickes voice makes a retron current mix of a quiet power.

10. What I Be On – Trey Songz
