1. Que Sera Sera – Pink Martini – This what She & Him are attempting and failing: a calliope of sound that swirls and waltzes through the Doris Day chestnut.
2. Je T'Aime Moi Non Plus – Serge Gainsbourg and Jane Birkin – Lo these many years later, it is not the organ motif or Jane's heavy breathing that lives on, it is the bass line.
3. We Found Love – Rihanna, Calvin Harris – The flying ever upward synth lines are pure dance, at home in any dance mix, but the song itself is superior r&b pop. Excellent mix and a big big song.
4. Supersonic – Oasis – Until Noel can say "Alka Seltzer" as well as his kid brother, maybe he should rest this one.
5. The Infected – Four Year Strong – first song off the new album, is a furious, drum heavy rush.
6. Superman – Taylor Swift – She just had Shawn Colvin on stage with her. Shawn Colvin? I bet that baffled her fans.
7. On To The next One – Jay-Z – He's got a million ways to get it, choose one.
8. What I be On – Trey Songz – This is one of the best songs he ahs ever been involved with: a poppy r&b with hip hop production and, er, Fabolous.
9. Ex-Fan Des Sixties – Jane Birkin – People who died, died.
10. Hammer Of the Gods – Danzig – he might well be an asshole, he might be Oscar De La Hoya, but as metal goes? In a class of his own.
