US courts have allowed the revival of an old court case claiming price fixing by the major labels who, in case you forget, control the prices on 80% of the mp3s you buy.

Yeah, and I am real shocked to hear this but, apparently they all got together and decided how much the distributors get paid per song. Which is, er, illegal. According to AP “The 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Manhattan said Wednesday that the lawsuit can proceed”.

And these idiots, with 80% control of the marketplace, are still going bankrupt. They better not fuck up streaming online or the majors are gonna be in even bigger trouble.
