1. Tell Me When It's Over – The Dream Syndicate – First song off their first album and it still sounds like a tuneful Lou Reed fronting Big Star.
2. I Am Not A Robot – Marina And the Diamonds – Could be one hit wonders, the album kinda sucks, but this is a fave for knocking on two years now.
3. Antmusic – Adam Ant – At the time it was a serious pop take on the nascent New Romantics movement, today the Burundi drums are outstanding and unapologetic.
4. One Chord Wonders – The Adverts – Really? I count three here.
5. Strange Clouds – B.o.B. – Wht has Weezy been better on his feature performances this year.
6. Pot Of Gold – Game – Another superior moment off Red Nation.
7. Skull – Screaming Female – Single best riff they ever came up with, a towering song.
8. Me And Mr. Jones – Amy Winehouse – Best line? "What kind of fuckery is this?"
9. Rok Rok – Mellowhype – Moves on an excellent drum pattern.
10. People Who Are Going To Hell – Vandals – i saw em at a warped tour gig and thought they were completely awesome. This is from their best album, Hitler Bad, Vandals Good. They never really played the East Coast, I was looking for em and they never came back.
