The great Brazilian baritone Paulo Szot who wowed broadway in South Pacific last year is at the Metroplitan Opera this Spring. Szot will star in a new production of the Dmitri Shostakovich opera The Nose, which will begin performances March 5, 2010.
Listen, you don’t need to be an opera buff to use the words Shostakovich and fucking hard going in the same sentence BUT this brilliant and gorgeous (also, sorry girls, gay) singer is a must see. Take it from me folks, you’ll be telling your Grandkids about it.
