A certain close personal friend of me told me that in her youth she was VERY CLOSE to several rock stars for night or so. One of them being John Doe. Put on top of that a very loud argument I had with Exene Cervanka a coupla decades leaves me somewhat cool on X as bands and as individuals.
Last time I saw them live, a coupla years ago at Bowery Ballroom, they looked like hell and though they played fine, they got on stage so late, I missed half the show (I mean midnight on an 8am door).

Here is John Doe, looking much better than the last time I saw him, with an Exene wannabe singing back up and pretty much nailing a new groovy little rock "Never Enough" straight up no chaser. Off his newbie Keeper which hasn't reach Spotify yet.
