Babyshambles is my fave UK band, and Pete Doherty is actually underrated. I adored the Libertines as well. AND I HAVEN'T seen either band live because pete can't get into the states. Last time round? He can't stuck at customs trying to enter nyc.

Doherty is troubled like Amy Winehouse was , but he is a cool guy and he as cool to Amy, so him playing Amy Winehouses "Tears Dry On Their Own" at his headline of Friday's "Leeds Festival set". Unlike the increasingly (if that's possible) pathetic Coldplay lead singer, who went through rehab with Amy, didn't just throw in a single. He played the lot. Also, I am just listening to her performance at Leeds. This guy needs tp get a visa now. He is a smart charismatic performance, who needs to pay off somebody somewhere (the rehab concept spould be enough) and play in nyc pronto. I wanna see him.
