Mayday Parade has now released their upcoming self-titled album for preorder! It comes out on October 4th, but who wants to wait? It's their third full-length, an impressive feat for a band that's only been around for six years, touring nonstop.
I love MP so I'm really excited to hear new material from them. If the album as a whole is as brilliant as the single "Oh Well, Oh Well", it'll be their best album yet. That song is my favourite Mayday Parade tune of all time. It's perfection. The lyrics are refreshing, and the instruments are great. It shows that the band has matured since Anywhere But Here. Usually singles are the least impressive song on an album, they're typically on the bottom of my list of favourites. If that's the case with this, it could be the album of the year.
Mayday Parade is one of my favourite bands, and I'm so excited to hear their latest stuff.
