Girls Just Want to Have Fun
I love the band name- I don’t like the boys school choir on this song. So, its a stupid song anyway but in my love for remakes ‘covers’ what have you, I will always try them first. I’m sad on this, I’m not even sure why they bothered.
With Boy Toy I kinda felt that I was on Mission to Mars at Disney. Whats with the techno cheez Ive been dabbling in lately? This one is pitched high enough that it almost hurts like Tiga. But again theres alot of singers in there. More artistically placed but I think the production is off cuz at certain points its the music becomes skewed and I have no idea what goes on. Theres not a heavy enough beat to make it club worthy. Should they ever add more thump this would have more hope but right now Id consider this a makeup application song. Sorta gets the blood pumping but not enough to exert any real emotion.
So I go to Dance Face.. aside from the goofy 1950s War of the World intro is not so bad but I am also not that impressed.
I’m glad the band has a fun name three songs and a smidge of the others and although I want to wear a tin foil pyramid on my head I really cant see partying up (no matter what chemical ingested) to this one.
