3. Old Grey Whiste test
4. Top of The Pops
BUT
The most iconic was TOTP -a simple count down of the Tp[ ten with tons of suspense as to who would be # 1. Pan's People danced, big bands lip synched and a wonderful time was had by all.
And then they killed it.
And now, according to NME: "BPI chairman Tony Wadsworth has called for the BBC to re-invigorate the show".
