MJ was a deeply disturbed man, though absolutely a pop genius. And he became what he admired: he became the elephant.
I find compassion for him difficult. Even from what we know…. people use doners all the time, but for both parents?
Still, you can understand why Poly would find him appealing in some ways. if you listen to Brooke Shield's eulogy I do think you get a vision of the boy who got stuck between child and mahood.
