The Ready Set's "Young Forever" Reviewed

The Ready Set released a song called "Young Forever" and I love it.  I've been a Ready Set fan since before "Love Like Woe" became really popular, and from the start I knew he was going to be big.

The song is very fun and though I like it, it's predictable.  His sound has changed a little bit, but not so much that he's still not classic TRS.  I adore this song, but it just doesn't stand out from his other stuff.  I've listened to it easily five times now, and I'm totally going to put it on my playlists and things, but it just isn't anything special.  However, not that I think about it, if it were drastically different I probably wouldn't like it- he's sticking to his usual kind of sound which is nice to see.

The beat is really catchy, and it's nice to see him experimenting more with the musical aspect of his songs.  His vocals are laid over it and they mix so well, it's just perfection.  All the sounds melt together and by the fourth time I heard it, it really started growing on me.  It's super easy to dance to and it'll totally be stuck in my head for a good amount of time.  Plus it makes me want to get up and flail like an idiot.

The Ready Set has released yet another fantastic tune, just wasn't what I expected.  I'm glad he's stayed true to his sound though and isn't trying too hard.
