1. Equibol – Rita Indiana – When your best song is a 15 minute exploration of "Gloria" and "In Excelsus Dio", that's art rock. When it is set to a truncated Merengue tom tom, that's dance art rock. But when it is performed by six foot, lesbian, writer from the Dominican Republic, who seems intent in taking that Reggaeton and shoving it; that is a flat out masterpiece.
2. Run (feat Kid Cudi) – The Knux – It's the modern sound of rock, or would be if it was prettier.
3. Let Love Grow – Dolly Parton – we had a word for this when I was growing up: pop music.
4. Ain't Nothing To Fuck With – Wu Tang Clan – This is why half the bands in the world owe RZA royalties.
5.Trouble On My Mind (feat Tyler, the Creator) – Pusha T – For instance, these guys. Pitchfork claim this is hard as fuck. That would depend on how hard you fuck.
6. I Do – Colbie Caillat – This should really big, a proposal song which deserves to out live its shelf live.
7. So Long – Zooey Deschanel and M. Ward – I don't LOVE it, it is no Randy Newman writing for Toy Story 3, but it is sugar sweet and I like it lots.
8. Burning Dust – Rocky Business
9. Secrets – Ramona – This ain't a secret, it is a question: why can't we get the Live ITunes EP in the States???
10. Manhattan (I'm Done) – Old 97's – Mixes its metaphors.
