Rollin' Along With Tweed And Beat Antiques

I just drove across the entire country, again, for the 10th time in the last 7 years.  From Los Angeles to Phoenix to Las Cruces to Dallas to Atlanta to DC to Baltimore to Brooklyn to Ladysmith to Asheville to New Orleans to Austin to El Paso to Las Vegas and back to sunny LA.  Tupac in Arizona, Manu Chao in Texas, Townes Van Zandt in Mississippi, but BEATS ANTIQUE stays on the whole trip.  For 8 weeks I love an artist, grow tired of that artist, and move on to the next.  Beats Antique is the only sound my eardrums can relax to for 60 days straight.  They are more of an accessary you place on time to make it more interesting than a music group.  For that reason alone, I bought my ticket to All Good Music Fest in Mason Town West Virginia starting July 14th till July 17th.

One problem.  I can no longer attend.  Why?  I just started my own brand of rolling papers, Tweed (www.smoketweed.tumblr.com) with my brother Keith, and two homes Woody Fuller and Elliot Jackson.  Our Tweed gets in JUST as All Good starts, and I must sit at my apartment all day eagerly awaiting a knock on my door. Woody will be there though, so check back for updates from him.  All Good Music Festival is the beginning of Tweed.  Tweed will ONLY be sold, for time being, at a few of the many music festivals that grace our country this Summer… All Good Music Fest was no mistake.  We picked it carefully, and for those who still have time, so should you.

Keep lookout for Keller Williams, who kept me quite musically invested as a traveling hippie back in my teens, among the many other specialties the lovely producers managed to piece so peacefully together.  For those who won't be there, such as myself, I will forward you all chaotic updates sent to my over-flooded inbox with delight.  It's my pleasure.  Happy camping!
