My Fave Tracks, Sunday, July 10th, 2011

1. The Lotus Symphonny – Netsky – Belgium drums and bass guys adds a symphony to his smart phone. All chimes and vibrate and strings. Awesome.

2. These Days – Monica Mancini – The late great Henry Mancini's daughter, gets every drop of melancholy off the cover, especially the pause between "don't confront me with my failures " and "I have not forgotten them". If that doesn't ring a bell you are having a better life than am i am.

3. Manhattan (I'm done) – Old 97's

4. Rocky's Theme – Rocky Business – Former Shinobi joins forces with dynamic front man for rock/rap duo growing into band size.

5. In The Meantime – Dolly Parton – "Let us not fear what is not clear…" Good advice.

6. Natural Rhapsody – Jonathan Wilson

7. Over Here – David E. Beats – Pretty good but he has better in the wings.

8. These Days (Live From Winter Gardens,) – Joy Division – This is dance as reflected by punk. So far before its time.

9. Ghetto Dreams (feat Nas) – Common

10. Man Can't Surf – Fidlar – Bass/drums are crunchy, and the tempo is a beat slower.
