Of all the disappointments in my life, one of the biggest was the TV cartoon show The Archies.
As a self-confessed onan enthusiast, the comic book with Betty and veronica in skimpy bikinis, miniskirts, teaming up on Archie or double teaming Reggie and Archie, provided me with hours of pleasure. Archie Comics were for spotty faced teens (except for the Adventure Series -which were for NO ONE). The TV show were for pre-teens and were the most anti sexual stuff known to man.
But at least they had a rock band (even a hit single, "Sugar Sugar") and I watched it any way, just didn't enjoy it as thoroughly.
