Jackie Evancho Is Streaming At My House

Dream With Me – Jackie Evancho – Is it wrong to wish ill on a little kid? Did you ever see "Don't Look Now" with Julie Christie and Donald Sutherland as a couple who are being haunted by her dead daughter… well the upshot is Sutherland mistakes a murderous dwarf as his daughter and is murdered and Jackie is the dwarf in reverse. Grade: C-

"I Care" – Beyonce – Hey, maybe "1+1" wasn't a fluke. This is very, very good stuff. Handclapping, tribal rhythm of the first order. Grade: A-

A Treasure – Neil Young – Will Young please shut his fucking face. Crappola mid80s country Young full of fine moons and girls with weird names separated by a hyphen.  Grade: C

Cars 2 – Soundtrack – Weezer's cover of the (haha) Cars is stunningly irrelevant, Robbie Williams goes country, and Paisley is overexposed. The score is whatever. Grade: D+

McCartney – Paul McCartney – Excellent first solo album. People claim it is slight, too much snippets, some of it is off hand, not quite finished. really? Like "Maybe, I'm Amazed" or "Teddy Boy" or "junk" or "The Lovely Linda"? Ok, maybe "The Lovely Linda. Remastered. Grade: A

McCartney II – Paul McCartney – Not bad follow up years later. "Coming Up" is major, the rest of it isn't but it is good enough. Grade" B+

Modern Love – Matt Nathanson – Folkie heartthrob bores badly. Grade: C+

15 Minutes – Barry Manilow – This is a camp classic of enormous proportions. Fifteen minutes? Of being famous?? God bless him, that is the funniest thing in ton earth. Sample song titles? "Letter For A Fan/So Heavy So High"… This is almost stupendously bad, otherworldly, really, so bad it is good. Grade:C (don't buy it STREAM IT)

Greatest Hits II – Molly Hatchet – 21 songs. Wait a second, TWENTY ONE SONGS???? Grade: C
