More William Beckett, But Nothing Original, Yet. Dashboard Confessional – Remember To Breathe"

So the lovely William Beckett covered Dashboard Confessional's "Remember To Breathe".  It's really great and shows that he has way more talent than I remembered.

On his Tumblr he put:

UNDER THE COVERS III
Dashboard Confessional – Remember To Breathe

When I was 16 I heard Swiss Army Romance for the first time at my friend Zac Todosiavich’s house. IMMEDIATELY I was hooked harder than an angler at a Bass Pro Shop. That year I quit baseball, bought an acoustic guitar, learned how to tune it to open D and starting writing songs. I ended up wearing my baseball socks to class with Dashboard lyrics on them. “So kiss me hard, cuz this will be the last time that I let you” I believe it was. Yes, I was THAT kid. All my old baseball friends hated me, and I was a boy on an island. I regret nothing. I’m surprised I didn’t get an “Ender Will Save Us All” tattoo…

So here’s an ode to my roots; another inspiration that led me to do what I do.

Enjoy the hell out of your weekend!

(oh, and what an unfortunate screen shot… Thanks YouTube.)

The purity of his voice is really addicting, I've hit the 'replay' button more times than I can count.  I've always been a huge fan of the man, but since I haven't heard much new from the band, this is refreshing and a reminder that William Beckett is one of the most talented singers ever.

Also, the ending of this video is the cutest thing in the world.  Beckett is talking to his daughter, and I couldn't believe how adorable it was.  His demeanor instantly changes and is the happiest man in the world.  It makes me proud to be a fan, and happy to see who he really is.

This video as a whole gives immense insight to Beckett's life, inner thoughts, true talent, and much more.
It's great.
