Here are the problems with Eagles OF Death Metal:
1) they havent done a damn thing in a year.
2) Josh Hommes is wasting his life a) producing Arctic Monkeys
and 2b) recording with the gdawful Them Crooked Vultures which has one good thing about it:
a) a bass player with
3) Names.
Josh Homme and Jesse Hughs sound like a rock band if Marc Bolan formed a heavy metal rock band. Yeah, that’s big praise, and yeah, Christine Babiak once dragged to me see em -worth the while as well. The sound is all bass hooks and smooth bombast like “Cherry Cola” which is so sexy it sports its tumerscence as an act of faith.
OK, one last problem: I can’t hear Josh’s voice so if anybody wants to to tell me where I’m going wrong be my guest.
In the interim Eagles Of Death Metal should stop fucking around and record a new album.
