Whether you find Hangover 2, terrible or merely pretty depends depends on how much you can take of Zach Galifianakis, the bearded, one note schub souk of the dire wolfpack. With the exception of his hysterical opening monologue on SNL earlier this year where he came out and performed the indisputable best version of "Tomorrow" you have ever heard (check it out here: http://www.funnyordie.com/videos/be5b3f3d57/zach-galifianakis-s-snl-monologue-and-annie-performance ), he irritates the fuck out of me.
And so did the first Hangover: basically a how done. Part 1 had three friends wake up the night after a bachelor party with no memory of the night before and with the bridegroom MIA in Las vegas. Part 2 is the same in Thailand, but less funny and, well, just plain less. A coupla good chuckles, a really funny scene or two but otherwise, whatever. Lots of people find this funny but then lots of people are stupid.
Musically, there is Mike Tyson singing "One Night In Bangcock at the end, and Kanye West's "Stronger" and "Monster" leading up to the forgotten night.
And the forgettable mpvie. Part 3? Come to New york, we'll show you something to forget.
