In an interview I saw on Spin.com Kristen Stewart namechecked two songs she has had on heavy rotation. One Sia, the Australian ambient chanteuse and the other Joy Divisions “Shadowplay”. “Music has a huge… I think about it quite a bit when I’m working, yeah…” Stewart said.
What this is is a question of a TASTE IN MUSIC. Stewart has one. She’s right, whatever Sia’s song is, “Breathe” or anything else, it could segue into JD. JDs “Shadowplay” is so seminal you would bet the whip beat has been sampled everywhere forever (everybody thinks its the guitar solo but it aint).
